Waves International Tax and Accounting is an accounting office located in Tokyo, Japan. We provide bilingual professional services to small and medium-sized foreign capital companies and foreign individuals who work or invest in Japan.
Our services include company setup advisory, bookkeeping & financial reporting, preparation of tax returns, support of local financing and financial & tax due diligence services, as well as tax advisory services related to domestic & cross-border transactions and M&A.
SERVICES
Company Setup Advisory
Provide legal and tax support for company setup in Japan in cooperation with appropriate legal advisers. Nominee office address and nominee director services are also available for companies which have not appointed a representative director.
Bookkeeping & Financial Reporting Services
Record daily journal entries and prepare general ledgers & trial balance in accordance with Japan GAAP in Japanese or English. Prepare financial reporting package in English for your head office. GAAP conversion is available upon request.
Tax Compliance & Advisory Services
Prepare various Japanese corporate and individual tax returns, application forms for tax treaties. Represent clients at tax audit. Provide Japanese tax advisory services related to cross-border transactions, consolidated tax system and M&A transactions.
Financing Support Services
For foreign capital companies which prefer to take out a loan locally, support to negotiate with Japanese banks or investors including preparation of company business plans and necessary documents.
Financial & Tax Due Diligence Services
Read financial statement, tax returns and other related documents as well as interview of management of target companies. Prepare financial and tax due diligence assistance report.

- Worked for the Hawaii branch of a Japanese company listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange (2013-2016, youngest in management member)
- Support agencies for business innovation certified by the Kanto Finance Bureau and the Kanto Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry
- Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Aoyama Gakuin University
